Work areas
My main task is leading the department for Network Operations, which is the group responsible for MAN network, infrastructure in 3 datacenters, multiple local area networks, a large wireless network, load balancing, network security and all physical cabling at UiO. In addition, the group has national responsibilities in terms of operating the Norwegian Internet Exchange Points (NIX) and are an essential partner for the NREN (UNINETT and Nordunet). My areas of work in more detail are:

Background
Master of Science in systems administration from NTNU and a course in project leadership (fall 2010). I have been working at USIT since 2004.
