Investigate similar or other useful portal frameworks used or developed in Norway, the Nordics and Internationally. With an emphasis on SLURM integrateble portals, and the Nordics
For existing galaxy :
- The flow of a project application is as follows :
- Login to Lifeportal with Feide / minID
- Hit allply for project button in the "project tool"
- Nettskjem application
- Application populates GOLD -> inactive project is generated
- Mail goes to sys-admins / local RFK comittee
- Superadmin approval in GOLD
- Email to PI with pwd
- PI can access tool inside Galaxy for qouta application, project member add/remove, report
NB : all special user-interaction regarding projects, members, quotas and reporting is tone within a (new) tool.
Administrative :
- Project report every month (break july-sept, summer and NFR stress)
- Project group meeting 1 x / month (in progress)
- SLACK for the project (done)
- Jira-board for the project (done)
- Portals operator on duty - 2 weeks at the time, this is to be updated on galaxy things, not RT
