IT Help (UCS-HELP)

The IT Help section assists users with IT services, computers and other IT-related things at UiO. Here, we solve cases that concern basic IT services that everyone uses and other services that the IT organization is responsible for.

  • First and second line support for basic IT services and other central IT solutions
  • Knowledge of the entire IT service portfolio and ability to forward cases to the appropriate receiving device
  • Coordination and distribution of registered support cases
  • Facilitate personal guidance (one-to-one) via video or physically.
  • Responsibility for immediate response in particularly important situations such as digital lectures, teaching situations, DigEx, Digital Disputes etc.
  • AV hotline
  • IT-related tasks for the physical digital exam solution
  • User administration of groups, rights and the life cycle of a user account
  • Receiving orders for standard IT equipment and software
